Rae is an ecologist focused on the integration of human and ecological systems. Having performed research on both the arachnid biodiversity of Ecuador and the anthropomorphic influence of ecologies in film and literature, Rae explores the intersection of environments and human behavior. A graduate and current educator of natural sciences within the Rudolf Steiner pedagogy, Rae’s work is founded on being of service to the world. A free dive athlete and trainer, she believes strongly that there integration of humans and the environment begins with reconnecting to nature. If she isn’t writing about ecology, or hunting down new spider species, you can find her enjoying the planet's many underwater ecosystems.
